A Monumentous Week!
Today, Monument To Murder - Kate Daniels 4 - is published in hardback by Pan Macmillan in the UK following an amazing week for me personally and also for the series.
On Wednesday 13th November, my debut won the Polari First Book Prize 2013 (see below) and then on 19th the news was transmitted round the world in an article I wrote for the Guardian. You can read it here: I had to dig deep to keep the faith.
Also on that day, Settled Blood was published by Witness Impulse, an imprint of Harper Collins/WilliamMorrow in the US.
Yesterday, Forum Books (Corbridge) launched Monument to Murder, an amazing night to celebrate the new book. Today, it goes on sale. I know many of you have been eager to read the next instalment of Northumbria police's murder investigation team.
Thanks to all fans of the series, both here and abroad. Thanks also too to my wonderful AM Heath agent, Oli Munson, my Pan Macmillan editor, Wayne Brookes, my Witness Impulse editor, Trish Daly - not forgetting all the backgound staff who made it happen.
I will never forget this week.
